SUMATRA BLEND SAVOURY INDONESIAN
Dutch colonialists brought the coffee plant to the Indonesian island of Java in 1699. Production began on the island of Sumatra in 1884. The island's central axis sits upon the Equator and the climate and volcanic soil is perfect for growing coffee. A unique wet-hulling style of processing creates the unique earthy, savoury, and herbaceous characteristics which are a trademark of Sumatran coffee.
This coffee offers a well-balanced and sweet medium bodied cup with nice balance and body. Rich, deep-tasting earthy notes with little acidity.
