Traditional French presses produce a coffee with some amount of fine grounds. This press has an optional secondary fine mesh stainless steel filter to remove excess fines and to allow you to brew loose leaf tea. The 600ml (20oz) capacity will produce on large cup or two smaller cups.

The glass body of this press can double as an elegant serving carafe, just take out the filter assembly and remove the rubber base.
